Soles4Souls is helping millions
How often have you heard the phrase, “Spend a day in my shoes.” Well, in the case of those with limited or no funds this is a great privilege and blessing. Just as the runners in the Ford IronMan Races or Pro Sports Players need the right shoes – so do millions “around the corner and around the world,” and Soles4Souls is helping to make a difference with the gift of shoe donations. To date they have helped give shoes to those in need in over 45 states and 61 countries.

Soles4Souls is there to help during Disasters; from the wildfires in Southern California, floods in the Mid-West, and the tornados in the Southeast, Soles4Souls were able to respond quickly and efficiently with needed footwear. They help those in the Appalachia Mountains Region where they consistently see children that do not have one adequate pair of shoes for school.
Soles4Souls also donates shoes to Disadvantaged Children at Summer Camps, Navajo/Hopi Indian Reservations, Women Domestic Abuse Shelters, Inner City Hospitals, Orphanages, and Homeless Shelters. This is just a portion of those Soles4Souls has helped around the globe.

So often we take for granted the shoes we wear every day. While most of the world does not have one adequate pairs of shoes, Americans have an abundance of footwear sitting idle in our closets. Your consideration of simply cleaning out your closets can make a significant difference in the quality of life of someone in need.
Soles4Souls, the international charity dedicated to providing free footwear to those in desperate need, announced the creation of a national partnership with Liberty Tax Services. Customers can use coupons to receive a $20 discount on their 2008 tax services and Liberty Tax will donate an additional $20 to Soles4Souls for each coupon used. In addition, at participating locations customers will be able to donate their “gently worn” pairs of shoes.
Visit our website http://www.giveshoes.org to find a participating location near you. All shoes donated to Soles4Souls will go directly to helping needy people in the United States and around the world.
