music989Experience the coolest outdoor music series in the heart of Hendricks County! The Downtown Danville Partnership is pleased to announce the schedule for the 2009 Downtown Danville Summer Sounds on the Square presented by Hendricks Regional Health. The Partnership has once again joined with local business owner, Chuck Watts of the Royal Arts Center, to bring this wildly successful event back to the area for another enjoyable summer season.

    The concert series will begin the season on Saturday, June 20th with a live tribute to “The Boss”, Bruce Springsteen, as local favorites Jennie Devoe, Gordan Bonham, Tim Grimm and Jason Wilbur present “Hoosier Springsteen”. Gates open at 7:30 pm and the show gets underway at 8:30 pm, on the south side of the Courthouse Square with The Royal Theater serving as a backup location.

    One note to mention is that there is a $5 admission for ages 21 & over, people under the age of 21 are admitted absolutely FREE. There are a limited number of seats available, so it is suggested to bring your own chair.
