    During the first annual Sauvignon & Seafood Event at Benton’s steak & chop house (www.bentonskc.com) Executive Chef Martin Heuser will prepare a succulent seafood hors d’oeuvre selection creatively paired with fifteen different Sauvignon Blancs from around the world. While space is limited at this reception style event there are more chances to share a glass of wine in Kansas City.

    At the Vinino Wine Bar & Bistro (http://www.vininokc.com/) in Kansas City’s new and exciting Power & Light District you and your friends can enjoy 1/2 Price Bottles of Wine every Wednesday. This includes all bottles of wine under $100.

    Another option is to make your own batch of wine and design your own labels at LMS Wine Creators. (816-554-4664) They also offer offer wine by the glass or bottle, martinis and a full-service bar with a daily Happy hour from 4-7pm.

    Experience great jazz music on the back lawn at The Elms Resort and Spa from 12-9 pm on October 3. (http://elmsresort.com/area/calendar/) During the event you can also sample wine from all over the world, view arts by at local artists and crafters booths and enjoy the great food. Ticket price includes admission, entertainment and 10 wine samples.

    In the Country Club Plaza Area visit Californos, located at 4124 Pennsylvania Ave to join the Design & Wine event. Held at the end of July, you can enjoy delicious appetizers and wines as well as design your very own 1154 Lill Handbag.
