Among the great family sites to visit are the Houston Museum of Natural Science, Space Center Houston, Houston Zoo, and the Downtown Aquarium.
Each offers unique exhibits and hands-on acitivites as well as entertaining events. Then again, you can save money to these and other attractions in the Houston area with the CityPass, a discounted ticket booklet for the top eight attractions in the city. The CityPass offers discounts almost up to half or more off admission, and you can visit Museum of Fine Arts, the Children’s Museum, The Health Museum and the George Ranch.
In the Museum District it would you a day to explore the many art venues in Houston. Featuring 17 museums and the Houston Zoo, the Museum District is great because everything is just a short walk away. The best part is that 10 of the museums are free all the time, and the others offer free admission on specific days of the week.
